China and the CCP (by Ian Duncombe)

"Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall."
-- Confucius

The Chinese Communist Party, otherwise known as the CCP, has undergone a dramatic transformation as a mass realization of the nature and true history of the government in China is taking place. A document entitled "The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" has been the harbinger of this most alarming scene as an estimated 20 000 party members have been leaving the CCP each day. The total number of defectors from the party is now numbered at 2 200 000. If such a pace continues, the CCP will collapse and China will find itself on the path to a new beginning. Of utmost importance is the freedom of the Chinese people from this tyrannical government that has enslaved the minds and hearts of their ancient civilization. The CCP has proven repeatedly that it is a malicious force concerned only with its own survival, and has committed an entire spectrum of gruesome deeds in order to maintain its undignified rule.

"This machine has been running for over 56 years now. And in that process has killed so many innocent lives..." -- Chen Yonglin

The most notable results of the CCP's dysfunctional rule have been emblazoned in the minds of people worldwide. The famous Tiananmen Square massacre shocked the world with images of heavy tanks crushing young students rallying during a pro-democracy movement. The repercussions of the one-child policy have become notorious from the circulation of nightmarish stories involving the killing of infants and forced abortions. These images briefly open a window to a world where families will kill their second child out of fear and military war machines are used to crush the very people they are supposed to protect. However, this window is far too small for the rest of the world to truly realize the situation of a civilization that has seen over 80 million unnatural deaths in the past century.

Although Western media does lightly cover the human rights abuses that have and are being committed in China, there is much more attention focused on the economic potential of the country as the consumer class in China becomes larger and the great corporations stake out their ground. Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin has opted to continue the ridiculous stratagem of engendering a positive change in the CCP through example. This example is supposed to be presented through the various business interactions that take place between mutually interested parties of both countries. The Canada China Business Council (CCBC) is a platform that allows both countries to ensure that co-operative business partnerships continue to exist and that new business ventures can be facilitated. The multiple crimes committed by the CCP have been overlooked by the Canadian government as it eagerly continues to function within the CCBC.

Recent defectors from the CCP seeking asylum in Australia have released information about the existence of complex and coordinated spying networks that exist in Western countries mainly to obtain information on the growing spiritual practice of Falun Dafa. Falun Dafa started in Mainland China in the early 90's and has since spread all over the world. Falun Dafa practitioners have been mercilessly persecuted since its growth sparked the jealousy of former CCP head Jiang Zemin in 1999. This has been noted in the Nine Commentaries as the most recent development in the history of the CCP's cruel and disgusting conduct towards its own people. According to recent defectors Chen Yonglin and Hao Fengjun, The CCP's paranoia has allegedly led to the placement of thousands of Chinese spy agents in Australia and an additional thousand in Canada to keep tabs on Falun Dafa practitioners. Chinese consulates in Ottawa have denied the charges that a spy network exists and the Liberal government has yet to take any action on the issue.

The Chinese have endured murder, torture, brainwashing, lies, and repression of their spiritual beliefs under the cold hand of the CCP. Nothing substantial has been accomplished by outside powers and even now, on the receiving end of a full slap in the face, foreign countries have taken no immediate action pertaining to the uncovering of thousands of CCP spies. Indeed the real change in China has been brought about by the victims of its government, the authors of the Nine Commentaries, not by the actions of capitalist countries that seek to benefit first and talk of righteous change after. Although the torturing and killing of religious and spiritual groups should be enough to warrant real action by outside governments, even with a spy network threatening the sovereignty of Canada, the Canadian government refuses to cut off the CCP from trading relations.

The question of why the Chinese have suddenly become aware of the evil nature of their government now may be raised. It has taken a massive amount of courage and will for the Chinese to declare themselves sovereign from the CCP to begin with as the party is notorious for quelling non-conformists by torturing and killing them. There has recently been a countrywide search for people who possess a copy of the Nine Commentaries and as a result, many Chinese have been arrested. Beyond lying to its own people, the CCP is adept at changing the face of history to suit its disguise. The schools are forced to teach falsehoods to the students in place of historical facts and thus promote the honorable nature of the communist party. Now that the Nine Commentaries have been published, there has been a realization of just how evil and malicious the CCP is. This realization has caused the Chinese citizens to become disgusted with the state of their government and they have accordingly begun taking measures against it. The Party now faces the dire consequences of dehumanizing a noble civilization.

From a purely moral and compassionate standpoint, the fall of the CCP is undeniably a good thing. This is a chance for the Chinese to form a free government. The rich and colorful history of the Chinese culture exemplifies morals as well as living in harmony with the universe. A new free system of governance based on these traditional values could usher China into a bright new resurgence of culture and the beginning of a new chapter in their history.
