Vaughan Secondary School (18 May 2005)
On Wednesday, May 18th, Five Minutes to
Midnight attended Vaughan Secondary School's Earth Charter Festival. Our booth
attracted many young people as well as teachers interested in human
rights.
International Outreach (14 May 2005)
We have received a donation of shirts from the 4Ahimsa
organization. On May 14th, we shipped a number of them out with an order of our
books to Youth Action Nepal.
Truth Compassion Tolerance Day (13 May 2005)
Five Minutes To Midnight was represented by Lindsay Schiavone at
the celebration on Friday, May 13th at Nathan Philips Square.
Our organizers were active as a panel of judges for the Truth
Compassion Tolerance writing contest. For our contribution, Five Minutes
to Midnight has been honored the Community Achievement Award, on behalf of
the Toronto City Councillor Michael Walker, and Co-Chair John Zhang.
Top 20 Under 20 (10 May 2005)
Five Minutes To Midnight's Wojciech Gryc received the Top 20 Under 20 award;
one which recognizes youth who make a difference in their own community, even
on an international scale. As Five Minutes To Midnight strives to work for
the betterment of humanity by raising youth awareness, we are gratuitous for
everyone working together to give us this opportunity.
New Office (7 May 2005)
Five Minutes to Midnight opened a new office in downtown Toronto. It is open every Saturday
from 9am to 5pm and allows volunteers to come together to share ideas, work together, and hold meetings.

St. Roberts Secondary School (3 May 2005)
Five Minutes to Midnight's Wojciech Gryc gave three workshops at St.Roberts
Secondary School in Markham. These workshops provided made many students
more aware of international human rights.
