Short Biography: When I was 5 I wanted to become a prima ballerina; at 7 a world renowned painter; at 10 a famous chef, and at 15 I decided that my career in life would be to become a world famous snowboarder. Now, as I reach my 18th year, I do not know which way my heart and head’s directing me, but throughout my years in childhood, and now closer and closer to adulthood, I realized that the one hobby I had that kept me focused was writing about global issues. I believed that youth should take a more active role in current world issues both globally and locally and by taking the step toward my future and writing articles for FMM, I am truly doing something in my community that could possibly influence others to do something as well. Presently, I have seen that my writing for FMM has stopped being about myself and what I can do for the world, but instead it made me realize that as a team we have the power to actively connect youth, raise awareness and contribute globally to a just cause.
